VINIFICATION AND MATURATION
Vinification takes place after delicate crushing of the grapes. The must macerates on the skins for 1-2 weeks
in order to favor the extraction of color and other polyphenolic substances.
COLOR
Ruby-red with garnet reflections.
BOUQUET
Fine, with scents of cherries, wild berry fruits, violets and spicy hints.
FLAVOR
Dry and fresh, with good body and agreeable tannins.
SERVING TEMPERATURE
Serve at 16°C
FOOD COMBINATIONS
Excellent with richly-flavored dishes, perfect with cold cuts, red meats and meddle-aged cheeses.

VINIFICATION AND MATURATION
The grapes are carefully selected
and picked by hand. The must undergoes maceration, during alcoholic fermentation, over the skins for 12 – 14 days. Following
malolactic fermentation, the wine is then aged in Slavonian or French oak barrels for a period of 6 to 10 months and refined further in bottle for a minimum of 30 days.
COLOR
Ruby-red tending towards garnet.
BOUQUET
Elegant, intense and persistent with hints of
wild berries and spiciness released by the
wood of the barrels.
FLAVOUR
Well-balanced and dry, with good structure
and a velvety texture. Savory and full bodied
at taste.
SERVING TEMPERATURE
Serve at 16°-18°C.
FOOD COMBINATIONS
It is a perfect accompaniment for the richly
flavoured dishes of the traditional Chianti
cuisine, as well as for grilled meats and
mature cheeses.
